Todays the day of the blissful wizard Ry’s birthday-aka the day of the Capt Shingler Dingler Smelltic Space Kayaker. He was the silliest, funniest dude, best grower and doobie roller. A lot of the our industry today has him to thank for how things have come. He continues to have a positive impact years later. I miss my homie and wish he was here with us. Purp Z. This one almost slipped through our fingers amongst some male seeds we germinated, but we decided to hold on to it due to its difference in appearance from the rest of the phenotypes. After fully flowering this cultivar 4-5 times since the pheno hunt we’ve noticed it’s ability to grab the attention of those burning it and those who are smelling it. Apple Pop Tartz. Born from an accidental cross between Apple Fritter and Mendo Breath this cultivar is one of my favorites at the moment. A couple years back a grower I know had an unstable Apple Fritter plant pollinate a variety of cultivars. I started sifting through the seeds and this one was more than worth the search. Apple Pop Tartz has a very strong apple/candy nose with heavy notes of sour on the back end. She also stacks heavy amounts of trichomes during the later stages of flower. Heirloom purple. Hunted and selected by us, bred by Ethos. As we trim this herb over and over we realize it doesn’t have very much purple pigment. It almost smells purple if that makes sense… we could be crazy, but what else is new.
